From the former owner of Jeunesse Hair Salon
Gulya Katayeva, owner of Gugush Hair Studio, has over 30 years of hair salon experience. She worked at Juenesse Hair Salon for over 20 years and managed it for over 12 years, where her care and fine skills turned into a well-known salon throughout New York City with many positive reviews and even more satisfied clients.
After the COVID outbreak in 2020, Juenesse was forced to shut it doors forever. Wanting to continue in the tradition of the salon and continue to provide outstanding hair care, Gulya opened Gugish Hair Studio across the street from its predecessor, and designed it from the ground up with an upscale look, modern technology, and all the precautions needed for today’s world – specifically a professional grade ventilator directly in the middle of the salon that filters and cleans air to ensure a safe, clean experience.
Using all the safety protocols that have come with COVID, and continuing on her passion for creating signature looks, Gulya continues on the legacy of Juenesse with Gugush Hair Studio. She provides hair salon services for men, women and children alike, and specializes in color and Keratin.
